Ngage Best Practice Tip: Converting Relevant Leads

Ngage’s standard approach is to convert every visitor into an opportunity, and let your business make the final call on whether or not you can help the individual. This is the optimal approach to acquiring as many opportunities (and clients) as possible.

If you notice certain types of visitors consistently use live chat, but are never relevant to your business, there may be a way to tighten the net.  Here are some tips to make things more efficient:

  • Filter by the visitor’s geographic area so that out-of-state visitors do not see the live chat.
  • Remove Ngage from non-relevant subpages on your website – for example, a particular article may be good for SEO, but isn’t exactly the type of case you handle in your area of practice. We can remove Ngage from that subpage only, so you can avoid non-relevant inquiries.
  • Add some introductory language to the live chat invite so you inform visitors before they initiate their chat.

Keep in mind that it’s probably best to err on the side of converting the visitor – you don’t want to miss a great potential chat because too much filtering is in place.
